Are we living in a Smart world or Insecure world ???
This time I want to start my topic with a real time example.
After 6 months, contacted my most favorite person. To surprise him I have collected some rare pictures of him. Pictures which were clicked years ago. Fact was, that I got it from Social Media.
What I observed in social media users is, they post there beloved pictures of there memories, likes etc... Even when I saw my friend I was so happy.
My question here is I am a friend, that is a picture, but what if someone misuses it?? Let me explain you my real time experience.
One of my friend from my friends list asked me money saying her mom is ill, thought to send money immediately. But I took a minute to think about it. She kept all her self respect a side and asked, if I do it then it continuous for me and for her in every situation. I would like to help with my hands instead of trusting on online and send.
Coming to technology, Online, connecting, sharing are all good, but that should be in a Limit. There should be Freedom to write, talk and share memories which is good for everyone. But that shouldn't be misused, hurt anyone's emotions and unwanted things shouldn't be encouraged.
When we develop a website we think about managing data, in the same way data in the internet should also be maintained country wise day to day by which cyber crime may be reduced. Its good to take action before anything happens in big.
I always used to hate phone. Now I am proud to hate it. As per me, we are living in a data world which has 20% useful content and remaining don't know why is it useful for.
I read a book on importance of data in the world. Long ago, when google was introduced there was a disease in one corner of the world. Doctors found cure for the disease and they want to know the number of people who were affected. Since they couldn't reach everyone, they took the help of google and known the places from where the disease name is used as keyword to search, then they contact that particular regions to help them.
Our work towards technology should be helpful in Education, emergency situations, health, predict climate and natural disasters.
I am sharing my thoughts, expecting answers.
